Program OVerview
Williams Technical College’s Electronic Healthcare Records program can help you understand the procedures regarding digital versions of a patient’s paper chart. Students in this program are able to simulate updating and entering patient data in a customized electronic file used for student learning purposes. Additionally, students are also taught the fundamentals of Medical Billing and Coding.
Our 722-hour program prepares our graduates to sit for the CPC exam with AAPC and CEHRS with National Healthcare Association by including intensive courses body systems, medical terminology, and ICD-10 and CPT coding. After completion of the program, graduates will receive a diploma in Electronic Healthcare Records and be eligible to sit for national certification in Medical Coding and Billing and Electronic Healthcare Records.
